If you are doing something which you want to track, you are performing a task. Tasks can have Clients, Projects, and Folders assigned to them for grouping. Tasks are the first things you should create. To make a new task, tap the 'New' button, then tap 'Task'. Write the name of this task. You can also edit tasks In this window. To edit a task, tap on the task name anywhere in TimeMan. (In list views, tap on the left column; in the chart modes, tap on the task name at the bottom of the Newton screen). When you are viewing the task screen you will see the project that the task is linked to, the task name, any clients linked to the task, the pattern the task appears as in the charts, and a list of times the task was performed for the given range. You can edit any of these features by tapping on the item. You can view other tasks by using the up and down scroll arrows or by tapping the task picker and choosing the task you want to view. To create a new time entry either tap the 'New' button and choose the task you will start timing and tap the 'set' button. You can also start new time entries with the floating button. To edit time entries, tap on a time entry in any list, or the time entry in the calendar. You can change the date using the calendar and time entries by tapping on the digital clocks. You can delete a time entry by tapping the 'delete' button, or attach a note to the time entry by tapping on the note icon. Task List views all of your Tasks and Times sorted by task. Sorted List lets you view all of your data sorted by time, task, or project. Pie Charts allow you to view your data as a pie chart. Calendar lets you see a graphical calendar. The data you see is always for the current filter in the given folder for the set time period. To change the folder being viewed, tap on the folder tab. To change the filter, see the 'Show' section of the help. To change the date, tap on the date picker at the top of your Newton screen.
