Freeze Utilities is an application that activates the Newton's built-in freezing option. If you have any questions on heap, please see our Newton FAQ.

It includes a series of preferences that lets you activate freezing through the Action Button.
You can also decide to keep the package icon when it is frozen.
Alternatively, you can choose to have the icon replaced with a snowflake.
Freeze Utilities gives you a series of options to speed up the freezing process. You can choose to have a package launched when it is thawed, and to have it freeze again automatically when it is quit.
